Let's Do Lunch...

...Or in Julia's case lets wear lunch! Yesterday we were without a car so Diane and I decided to have breakfast at the bread place with the little girls. It ended up that the bread place was too crowded, so we decided to go by a bakery and have some bread in the car. Then, since we were out in the area, we had lunch at Cantina. Julia and Miranda looked quite the part, enjoying there rice crackers, pizza crust and some pasta for lunch. They had their own table and conversation and were very good and allowed their moms to also have some nice conversation. For those of you who don't know Julia is 10 days older than Miranda, but they both have big sisters named Sydney. Miranda just needs to get her groove on and then there will be no stopping them. We were at their house the other day and Julia was showing her stuff, crawling all over. Little Sydney's comment was, "She moves", boy is she in for a rude awakening when Miranda moves.

Too cute! And such big smiles from Julia! (My own girlie tends to be a little on the serious side. That, or she just doesn't think I'm funny.)

How much longer over there?! Are you counting down the days?

As for us - the next move is to Edwards AFB in California. Don't plan on making it your next vacation destination. I'm afraid the only things there are a few dry lakes, some Joshua Trees, and a couple dozen coyotes... Oh, and some insane heat. But - it's only 3.5 hours from Vegas and 1.5 from LA, so at least civilization is within reach.

Have a fabulously wonderful week!

Oh, you went to Cantina without me! I'm glad you went somewhere I've been because it makes it easier for me to imagine your adventure. -- Kathy

Miranda's ready to do lunch again anytime! She's even starting to crawl, so may be able to make a not-so-quick get away with Julia next time!
