Happy 4th Birthday!
We didn't remind Sydney about her birthday until that morning
because we figure getting up at 5 am is already early enough, and we didn't need
her getting up earlier because she was excited. So soon after she woke up
Friday morning I read her the book, "Happy birthday to you". About half
way through she was tired of the story, it is a long book, and so
I then told her it was her birthday. Her comment was "I am 4 today!"
Well the day started with a cupcake and some gifts, but then it was time
to get ready for school. We also had a little matter of getting a urine sample,
but that will be another blog entry, it was just for school.
After school we went for a bike ride on base and met our friends Mrs. Diane, Sydney
and Miranda at the park. We played there for a couple of hours and came home
for pizza. We made pizza, played her new game Zingo (thanks to the Liedel's) and
then had another cupcake with singing.
It was a good 4th birthday. We will be having a BBQ to celebrate this event next weekend because Harry is on call this weekend, and we figured that he would get called in as soon as the party started. There will be more pictures to come,
but this is what 4 year old Sydney looks like, not much different from
the 3 year old if you ask me.
