Sydney's first Gingerbread house!

After much pressure from my friend Robin, ok not pressure but a lot of encouragement, Sydney and I sat down yesterday and she made a gingerbread house. I put all the graham crackers on the milk carton and then she decorated the house with all the accessories. The only part that I helped with was the lifesaver sidewalk and the face on the snowmen. She did a great job, and about half way through she figured out that the frosting tasted good. Julia didn't really care for the gingerbread this year but maybe next year she will at least want to try some frosting. Gingerbread houses are not something that either Harry or myself did as a child, but I can see this being a new tradition. Thanks Robin for the great idea!
