Taking Sydney to Sydney!
Off we go tomorrow to head to Sydney Australia!!! We are all
really excited and made the mistake of telling Sydney too early because
she asks all the time "when are we going to the place called Sydney?" The other
day I thought it would be a good learning opportunity to try and learn the days of
the week and showed her on the calendar that it was 5 days til we left. She asked
"How many naps is that?"( a nap constitutes daytime and nighttime, they are called the same in her book!) So it was 10 naps til we went and that seemed like
a really long time for her.
Anyway thought I would make one entry before we go for all those loyal readers
out there. I am sure we will get numerous pictures of Sydney next to
something that says Sydney. It will probably be easy to do. It should
be interesting the looks we get from the locals when calling her name. There
may even be a t-shirt we can buy for her and her friend Sydney that lives here
in Yokosuka.
Have a great week and all the Moon's have a great time at the Celebration
at the farm and stay cool. Sorry we will miss it but I am sure someone
will take pictures we can see sometime.
Love
Harry, Kathleen and Sydney
