I blame Harry...

Potter that is! I am very much behind with my blog, and I apologize to my readers, not that I know for sure who you all are since not many of you respond. I know you are out there though. We bought the book on base last Sunday, and I had my head in it until swim lessons on Wednesday when I finished it with tears in my eyes. Luckily I was wearing sunglasses so no one noticed. I was beat by my girlfriend, Vanessa, who also bought the book Sunday and finished it Monday night. Wow, I thought I was a quick reader. Anyway, it was awesome, and now since it is sitting on Harry's nightstand he has threatened divorce if I give away anything. We thought it may be fun to divorce over Harry Potter because we would definitely make the world news, but I guess I can wait to discuss the book with him. Sydney completed her 4 weeks of swim lessons and has become a pretty good swimmer. She loves to dive down in about 2-3 feet of water and get things off the bottom, and she can do pretty well with regular swimming. She just needs to remember to keep her head in the water. As her teacher says, she needs to look at the fish and not the birds. Sydney had great teacher named Brianne that she liked a lot. Syd has decided that she is going to teach the new baby how to swim and dive after things in the water. The baby is doing well and is very active. She is much more active than Sydney ever was and hopefully she will not be more active than Sydney when she comes out because that may put Harry and me in the looney bin. We have scheduled a last minute trip to Sydney, Australia. We are going for a week at the end of August, and as it is spring time there, it should be a great time to get away from the Japan heat. We are all looking forward to it. Here are a couple of new pictures. I am going to figure out a link to put more pictures on but haven't gotten that far yet. Anyway, Sydney is big into writing letters and numbers. She is getting pretty good at some of them and has even written "Syd" by herself. Enjoy and talk to you all again soon.
