Pizza with a side of pox!

Last weekend we had our good friends the Norwood's over for pizza. Little did we know that we actually having a chicken pox party. When I took Julia in for her year old immunizations they were out of the varicella shot. What is one to do, they were out! I did think in the back of my mind that if chicken pox got out it would spread like wildfire. So Julia woke up Monday morning with several pox in her diaper area and one on her shoulder, as the day progressed she developed more which only confirmed our diagnosis. The good news is that Julia has been really good though sick, she is not scratching or crabby. We are stuck staying around the house though but see the end of our confinement in sight. It looks like one less shot that Julia will receive, I am pretty sure she doesn't mind! Good Luck to the Norwood's because unfortunately Miranda and Julia are only 10 days apart and she didn't get her shot either! I am sure chicken pox will be affecting there house in 7-10 days!

Oh...so sorry to hear this. Hope Julia is feeling better and Miranda escaped the pox!

Me, too! Glad she's not been too uncomfortable. So far so good for Miranda, but we're not out of the woods yet. It's been 10 days, and it probably could surface in the next 4 or 5...but hopefully not!

Love the photo! I'll steal it for my blog. :)
