Mt. Fuji

We decided to go to Kamakura for the day on Friday, and with the girls behaviors before we left the house, I decided we would drive instead of take the train! We sure are glad we did. The view of Mt. Fuji from the beach was awesome. We had a good time having lunch and walking the streets, but the best part was the pictures we got. On our way home we went by the base to buy a new lens for our camera (thanks Grandma for the Christmas money!) The reason for the new lens was so we could load up the girls in the early morning and get the sun coming up! Have a wonderful Christmas weekend!

Incredible picture, Kathleen Jr! We just ran into Alan and Maki Ross (and Luke and Jake) at the Bed Bath & Beyond in downtown D.C. They are staying at Lori Christiansen's house for the holidays while she is visiting family elsewhere. And Mike ran into someone else from the Yokosuka base at the hardware store yesterday. Very weird.
