We're Pregnant!...Actually, just Kathleen is.

We are happy to announce that we are expecting baby number 2 this fall. That's right, the next heir in succession to the throne! As you can tell, the picture is not that good but you get the idea, and what do you expect at 11 weeks? The official due date is Halloween, so we will see. Maybe the baby will share a birthday with Daddy or Grandaddy. We saw the heartbeat last week, along with hands and feet. It was really neat.
We brought some pictures home and showed them to Sydney. When I asked her what it was she said, "Sydney as a baby?" I told her that it is the baby in mommy's tummy. She of course wanted to see it so I had to explain to her that we couldn't see it yet. Now when we ask her what's in mommy's tummy, she says it's a baby and she wants to hold it. We know she is too young to totally understand the concept but she seems to be doing well.
We will keep you posted on events as we find them out . We do plan on finding out the baby's sex in a couple of months, as most of our baby girl stuff is in Grandma Moon's basement.
