Welcome to the Catholic Church!

Harry and I stayed up late, especially for us, and went to the Easter Vigil on Saturday night at 8pm. Harry received his First Communion and Confirmation into the Catholic Church. It was a great evening and we celebrated with some friends that we have met through RCIA class. Harry's sponsor was Captain Helen Smith who is such a wonderful and inspirational woman. She has been a wonderful person to know and we will miss her greatly when she retires this summer. There were also two babies baptized and two adult baptisms...by full immersion, no less! Father Mulkerin does enjoy his traditions! So Harry is looking forward to having Thanksgiving dinner in Peoria and no longer being the "heathen" at the table :)! Take care!
