Anpanman Christmas 2008
We had a wonderful Christmas though you in the US are just getting up to unwrap all of Santa's deliveries we are going to bed with all the days events behind us. We had a very quiet Christmas this year. We spent Christmas eve at the park with our good friends the Norwood's. Then we went to meet Daddy at work to have lunch, and kept the office entertained for a while in the afternoon because though they didn't have any patients they were not able to leave work. Merry Christmas! Anyway
we awoke Christmas day to Julia at 0530 crying so she came and laid down with us until Sydney woke up at 0600. Sydney didn't remember that it was Christmas until we reminded her. We headed downstairs and opened presents. Sydney had been eyeing the presents for days and even said that Santa didn't need to come because there were enough presents under the tree from her grandparents! Santa did still come but only because he had already gone shopping and for him to return things to a Japanese store would have been more work. Anyway we now have many different things that sing the Anpanman song, wooden blocks, water cups, stacking blocks and Mario cart!
It was a fun filled day and we even got outside to enjoy the weather a little bit because the sun was out and it was in the 50s. We hope everyone is waking up to presents under the tree and a enjoyable day. We are off to bed!
