Summer Swim School
Sydney had one week, actually 4 days, of swim school at her Japanese
school. We went shopping and bought some stuff that she needed for these 4 days.
She needed a swim cap or she would not be allowed in the water, she also needed a ring to play with in the pool. I was told by a friend that the water is only a couple of feet deep but the kids want a ring because everyone else has one. We bought an Anpanman one because we love Anpanman. She colored her hat at school before the end of the school year.
She arrived home off the bus the first day and told me the pool was too cold.
It was about 88 degrees and 90% humidity but leave it to Sydney to be cold. So she got to go inside school and watch Anpanman which was better than swimming for her.
The next couple of days she did get wet, and the last day she told me she put her head under the water. With swim lessons every day for the past month I am not concerned about her swimming. She is doing well this year and can swim the width of the pool by herself. She really wants to go off the diving board, and before the end of summer I hope to get her there to let her do it.

Love the hat...you did a very nice job making it look pretty! Lots of love to all...
The hat is lovely but it's the Anpanman ring I like best!
