Let it snow!

Wow, what a surprise to wake up on Sunday morning to find snow on the ground. It was coming down hard and snowed for most of the day on Sunday with the final count about 4-5 inches or so at our house. Our friends, who live about 20 minutes south of us and closer to the ocean, got almost nothing that stuck to the ground. Sydney was ready to go out in it and play at 630, and we were able to hold her off until 645, enough time for me to find all her snow stuff. Thanks Moon's for the old snow pants, they came in handy. She was bundled up and ready to go. This snow was great since watching all her Christmas shows she has been asking when it was going to snow. We are currently the only family on our block that hasn't shoveled our snow. The neighbors have all shoveled the now in front of there house and in the street surrounding there house. Wouldn't that be interesting in the Midwest if we shoveled our own street, no on would live on a corner lot. Some people actually put chains on there cars, which we found amusing. Yesterday since most of this community walks or bikes to work and school, the city workers were out and shoveling snow at all the cross walks in town. It was a great snowy day and fun was had by all.
