I'm a big sister!

Many of you are probably wondering how big sister Sydney is doing with the new addition to the family. She is doing wonderfully and loves to hold, sing to, and help out with Julia. From the first time she came and saw her at the hospital, she was all smiles. Whenever someone came to our hospital room, she would offer to show them her new little sister. Sydney and Daddy went home Friday night and her only concern was that Julia was not coming home with them. She didn't care that mommy wasn't coming home, luckily the next night we were all able to come home and that made Sydney happy. Julia is adjusting well to the noise that a 3 year old makes and just keeps sleeping. She is sleeping as well as to be expected for a 4 day old, and it sure is nice to have Daddy home to help with the big sister. Another huge help for us is we have some awesome friends here who just keep stopping by every day with a new meal for us. This is definitely the best we have eaten in weeks. It sure is nice to have good friends to help. Thanks to all our friends and family who have contacted us by calling and e-mailing, it is fun to hear from everyone.

I love this picture. You can tell she's going to be a wonderful big sister! Everyone I showed the slide show to just fell in love with Sydney's smile and said how precious and beautiful they both are. Of course, I couldn't object to that!! Luv to all...
