Let's go fly a kite!
Sydney's new favorite movie is Mary Poppins, so flying a kite is on our
mind these days, and she has been asking about it. On Sunday afternoon we loaded
up the kites and headed over to the new football field on base, since there are no trees and always a breeze on the water. The kite that we bought her was perfect and she ran all over keeping it in the air and many times even clothes-lined mom and dad. The kite that Harry and I bought was a little more challenging, and we were not as successful. We need to work on the 2 handled
kite, they have come a long way since we were kids.
Needless to say, this kept Sydney busy for over an hour and she had a lot of
fun. When she became the lazy kite flier, we decided that maybe she needed to move on before she fell asleep with her kite in her hand.

That is an interesting flying position! and is that Jasmine on the kite? It seems you could fly for hours lying down! FUNNY!
She's obviously a natural...I'm sure not too many people can fly a kite from the supine position! Looks like a photo contest entry to me for kite flying!!
