Successful first day!
Sydney arrived home just as planned and all smiles. She was
so happy to see Mommy and Daddy that we couldn't get her to
bow to her Sensei, but I think they understand.
From what she tells us, they played with play-doh and sang
songs in Japanese. She was hungry and tired, so after 2 bowls
of oatmeal, per request, it was time for nap. Hopefully she
will be able to go back tomorrow, but due to the typhoon we
are not sure yet. They did measure and weigh her on her first day
and I guess they do this monthly. She is 95.8 cm and 12.5 kg. We
always knew she was skinny.
Have a great day and we will keep you informed with typhoon Fitow
headed our way.
