Bugs!

We love bugs! Sydney has found the homes of many
ants and rollie pollies in our backyard. She insists on carrying
them around the yard, and I must say that many of them have
lost their lives this way. Many rollie pollies are put in the water to
see if they can swim. It is a fun past time for her, and we have
gone to the library and borrowed books about ants to learn more.
With the weather warming up it is nice to be outside, so
I can't complain, but once the dog days of summer hit I don't think
I will be as willing to watch bugs. By then I will have the pool
in the backyard, and maybe I'll just sit in that all summer.
Here are some pictures of Sydney playing dress up with Mom's shoes and of her new raincoat. It is a difficult thing to get her out of sometimes. She enjoys wearing it, but we have to convince her we save it for when it rains. The rain will come soon enough and then we will be sick of it .
